i wanna say here's to me gonna change the world

So since I'm going to be hundreds of kilometers away from my friends,
I created this so they can be updated on everything going on in my life
Almost like they are still with me.
Almost.

The colours change to how I feel.
How original ~_~

Forgiving Too Easily

mybiggestregretever:

My biggest regret ever is forgiving too easily.  I thought I was just being nice and understanding, but I was really being ignorant and weak because my so called friends were taking advantage of me.

Not Standing Up to My Ex Friends

mybiggestregretever:

My biggest regret ever is never standing up to my “ex-best friends” whenever they were judging and bitching about others.  I guess they’re not here with me now for a reason.

Day Sixty Three/Four

Met my other suite mate Julia and my roommate Miranda. Everyone is super cool, and Carleton is like eHarmony. They matched us 4 to a T. We all like the same music, are clean, love to go out and have fun, and also have our priorities in check. We rolled into our floor meeting 20 minutes late (not my idea) so everyone knows who we are. Just in case we didn’t make a big enough impression already, we got into trouble for talking too. Played Never Have I Ever, which I always get confused with halfway through. Parents left FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHH and I teared up a bit. Mom cried :(

We went to the Carleton Pep Rally and learned all our school cheers. Then we came back to decorate our frosh shirts (Go devils Go devils Go!). Checked out the Much Music Video Dance Party, which was lame as I predicted. It was a giant mass of sweaty people dancing to music that came out before they were born. We met Mitch (AKA Edward Cullen look-a-like) and went back to our dorm for hot sex to play monopoly (I wish I was lying…). I personally think he looks more like an Abercrombie and Fitch model that’s super socially awkward.

Next day we learned our team cheers. Daredevils whaaaaaat! I’m glad we took out the time to decorate our shirts, because they looked SIIIIIICK. Our Facils loved them, and everyone remembered us from the bright names on the back, the fact that we were late and got into trouble the first day, and the wicked flames we traced drew.

Some cheers were hilarious:

There’s a hole in the city and it’s name is OttawaU

And if you’re dull and boring, well it’s the place for you!

And if you like concrete and ugly buildings too

Then Welcome to OttawaU!

2…3…4

Fuck you OttawaU! (x4)

And en francais, c’est fuck a vous!

5…6…7…8

What the fuck’s a Gigi?! (x4)

This one was my favourite:

These rainy days can’t put us out

We’re Daredevils, just hear us out!

Double rainbows in the sky

Double D’s, we’re just too fly!

We then took our cheers over by the Canal and cheered with all the other teams at the Carnival. Free canned food, and we only picked up one when everyone was holding cases. I sinked a basketball into the net in one shot for my team. I was so nervous that I was going to hold up the line! Watched people go down the slip n slide, but left when it started to rain too hard get boring.

Took the time to unpack (finally). Then we went to see an illusionist/hypnotist. Fucking hilarious! I don’t even think it was real, I think it was planned. I wish I volunteered to know what it felt like, because he didn’t make them do things that were too embarrassing.

Then we went to Oliver’s Pub and danced away. One guy was super creepy and was hovering near us. He was so awkward. He would just dance closely behind people, even guys. He tried to grind with Miranda, but I warned her he was there. Next thing I know, Michele is hardcore grinding with him. I lol’d so hard. Black guys were making girls bend over as usual, and the girls enjoyed it too. Another guy had 2 girls grinding each other and his legs. Ew.

Came back to our room and was going to 227 (Mitch and his roomies) to do shots. Just when we get to the door, Michele and Miranda didn’t want to go anymore, since it would be awkward. I cried on the inside for missing out on free shit (Free shit’s good shit, free shit’s good shit!!).

Writing

  • Fernando: How long does it normally take you to post something?
  • Me: Long. First I write it, then I format it, then I check over it.
  • Fernando: Heyyy I format mine too!
  • Me: ...poorly
  • Fernando: Someone told me that I'm a good writer
  • Me: Who? Your mom? (mad LOL)
  • Fernando : (sadface)

Day Sixty Two

Went to bed at 2. Woke up at 4 to leave for Ottawa.

Move in was hectic! Soooo many people just swarmed my stuff. I had to open the door, and they were all cheering and did a drum roll. Then I fumbled on which key it was, so they had to drum roll for a long time. They had to carry all my heavy ass stuff and I had a lot too. But when I ate lunch at the residence commons, some guy brought a U-Haul truck. So I didn’t feel so bad.

Met my suitemate Michele. She is super cool. I decided to take her lead and move around the furniture in my room. The two beds were super close. Super close. Like less than a foot apart. So I moved to the opposite side of the room. Didn’t want to unpack with my parents here, they are way too controlling.

Bought some $1000 textbooks. Yay

Met Debbie! We were going to her rugby game, but then it started to rain and got really dark.

Talked to Fernando on Skype. We managed to have more fun than we normally do when we hang out. We ate together, had a dance party, took professional pictures, and made a musical.

Parents are staying over in my dorm, so no fun for me on my first night.

But then again, I would’ve been here alone so…
